Scanner Information
WIA Scanners are recommended. Scanners that support Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) can usually be completely controlled from within DA Document Manager.
The DA Document Manager built in scanner controls properly function with a large number of scanners. We try to support most scanners. However, drivers are written by many manufacturers and as such many are not fully compliant with Twain or WIA. If you receive and error while attempting to scan using the DA Document Manager scanner controller, your scanner may be experiencing a drive issue that will not allow you to use it this way.
